Understanding Observations

Emily and her brother Jake walked to the park on a sunny Saturday morning. They saw many children playing on the swings and a group of teenagers playing basketball. After spending some time at the playground, they decided to have a picnic on the grass. Emily took out a blanket and spread it out under a large tree, while Jake grabbed some sandwiches and juice from the backpack.

As they enjoyed their food, Emily noticed a few clouds beginning to gather in the sky. She mentioned this to Jake, who continued to eat without concern.
