Understanding the Splash-a-thon Event

Every summer, the community pool holds a competition called the Splash-a-thon. Children from all over the neighborhood come to partake in various water games and races. The event promotes teamwork and sportsmanship, encouraging kids to cheer for one another. Participants can win ribbons in categories such as 'Fastest Swimmer' and 'Best Team Spirit'. Last year, the 'Best Team Spirit' award went to the Blue Dolphins, who wore matching outfits and brought homemade signs to support each other. The local ice cream shop sponsors the event, providing treats for all participants.
