Emma's Weekend Plans

Emma was looking forward to the weekend. After a long week of school, she had plans to spend time with her friends at the park. They were going to play games, enjoy a picnic, and even have a movie night under the stars. As she imagined all the fun they would have, she felt a bright smile form on her face. But when she heard the weather report the next day, her heart sank. The forecast predicted rain all weekend.

Despite her disappointment, Emma decided to think positively. She remembered that rainy days could also be fun. She thought it would be a great opportunity to invite her friends over for a sleepover instead, where they could play board games, watch their favorite movies, and maybe even bake some cookies together.
