A recent study claims that students who participate in extracurricular activities perform better academically than those who do not engage in such activities.
The researchers argue that involvement in extracurriculars fosters time management skills, enhances social interactions, and increases motivation to excel in both academic and personal pursuits. However, they also acknowledge that students who are better academically might be more likely to participate in these activities in the first place.
Based on this study, the education board is considering implementing a policy that encourages students to join clubs and sports teams to enhance their overall academic performance.
