A research study was conducted to investigate the effects of two different fertilizers on the growth rate of tomato plants. Two groups of tomato plants were treated with Fertilizer A and Fertilizer B, respectively, over a six-week period. The height of each plant was measured weekly, and growth data was collected at the end of the experiment.
The results showed that plants treated with Fertilizer A had an average height increase of 25 cm, whereas those treated with Fertilizer B had an average increase of 15 cm. The researchers concluded that Fertilizer A was more effective than Fertilizer B in promoting growth in tomato plants.
After the experiment, a third group of plants was introduced with no fertilizer to compare the results of the fertilized plants. This control group demonstrated an average height increase of 5 cm. Based on these findings, the researchers suggested further experiments to test the long-term effects of each fertilizer under varying environmental conditions.
