In a study conducted by the City Botanical Gardens, researchers found that plants exposed to classical music grew 15% taller than those that were not exposed to any music at all. This led the researchers to conclude that auditory stimulation can have a positive effect on plant growth.
In addition, the study indicated that plants exposed to rock music did not show any significant growth differences compared to the control group. The researchers recommended further studies to explore the effects of different musical genres on various types of plants.
