In a study examining the effects of sunlight on plant growth, researchers measured the height of two groups of plants over a four-week period. Group A was placed in direct sunlight for six hours each day, while Group B was kept in a shaded area with only indirect sunlight for the same duration.
At the end of the four weeks, the researchers recorded the average height of plants in Group A to be 30 cm, while the average height of plants in Group B was 20 cm. The researchers concluded that exposure to direct sunlight significantly enhances plant growth compared to indirect sunlight.
