Finding Hypotenuse of a Right Triangle

Very Easy Problem Solving Geometry

In a right triangle, one of the legs measures 3 units and the other leg measures 4 units.

What is the length of the hypotenuse of the triangle?

To find the length of the hypotenuse, use the Pythagorean theorem: $$c^2 = a^2 + b^2$$, where $$c$$ is the length of the hypotenuse, and $$a$$ and $$b$$ are the lengths of the legs.
