Finding the Length of a Triangle Side Using the Law of Sines

Medium Geometry Triangles

In triangle PQR, angle P measures 45 degrees, angle Q measures 75 degrees, and side PQ measures 10 units. What is the length of side PR?

Use the Law of Sines which states that the ratio of the length of a side of a triangle to the sine of the angle opposite that side is constant across all three sides of the triangle. That is:

$$ \f\frac{a}{\sin A} = \f\frac{b}{\sin B} = \f\frac{c}{\sin C} $$
