Finding the Median of a Number Set

Consider the following set of numbers: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10. Calculate the median of this set.

The median is defined as the middle value in a data set when the numbers are arranged in ascending order. If there is an even number of observations, the median is the average of the two middle numbers.
