Friends Planning a Weekend Trip
Listen to the following conversation between two friends planning a trip:
Friend 1: I’ve been thinking about going to the beach this weekend. It’s been so hot lately.
Friend 2: That sounds great! But do you think we should check the weather first? Sometimes it can change unexpectedly.
Friend 1: You're right. I’d hate to plan everything and then it rains. If the weather looks good, we can plan some fun activities.
Friend 2: Like what? Besides swimming, I mean.
Friend 1: We could have a picnic or try out some beach volleyball. That would be fun!
Friend 2: Absolutely! And if we don’t go to the beach, maybe we can go hiking instead?
Friend 1: Oh, hiking sounds fun too! Let’s decide after we check the weather.
