Length of Side in Triangle Using Law of Sines

Medium Geometry Triangles

In triangle ABC, angle A measures 30 degrees and angle B measures 60 degrees. The length of side AC is 10 units. What is the length of side AB?

Use the Law of Sines to solve for the unknown side. Recall that the Law of Sines states:

$$ \frac{a}{\sin(A)} = \frac{b}{\sin(B)} = \frac{c}{\sin(C)} $$

where $a$, $b$, and $c$ are the lengths of the sides opposite angles $A$, $B$, and $C$, respectively.
