Purpose of Speech - Recruiting Volunteers
Listen to the following dialogue between a student and a club president discussing an upcoming event:
Student: Hey, I heard about the cultural festival happening next weekend. Are you involved in organizing it?
Club President: Yes, I'm actually the main coordinator! We're planning a lot of activities, including food stalls and performances from different cultural groups.
Student: That sounds amazing! What can I do to help out?
Club President: We need volunteers for setting up the booths and managing the events. It would really help if you could spread the word and gather more people to join.
Student: Of course! Do you have any specific tasks in mind for me?
Club President: Right now, I think just promoting the event on social media would be great. We want to attract as many participants as possible!
