Finding the Median Score from a Data Set

In a statistics class, the instructor recorded the scores of 20 students on their latest math test. The scores are as follows:

82, 76, 90, 85, 78, 92, 89, 83, 84, 79, 87, 91, 75, 88, 86, 95, 81, 80, 93, 94

Calculate the median score of the students. The median is defined as the middle number in a sorted list of numbers. If the list has an even number of observations, the median is the average of the two middle numbers.
