Listen carefully to the following passage:
Welcome to today's lecture on the different stages of human life. We begin with infancy, which is the first stage of life, typically from birth to about two years old. During this time, babies experience rapid growth and begin to develop basic motor skills. Following infancy, we have childhood, which lasts until around the age of twelve. In this stage, children learn social skills and basic education in school. The next stage is adolescence, from approximately thirteen to nineteen years old. Adolescents undergo significant physical, emotional, and social changes as they transition into adulthood. The young adult stage comes next, where individuals often pursue higher education or start their careers, typically from ages twenty to thirty-five. Finally, adulthood and old age follow, which can last several decades. Each stage of life presents unique challenges and experiences that shape who we become.
