Student Summer Plans Discussion

Hard Basic Comprehension Detail Recognition

Listen to the following conversation between two university students discussing their plans for the upcoming summer break.

Student A: Hey, have you thought about what you're going to do for the summer? I heard there are some great internships available.

Student B: Yeah, I've been looking into a few options. I want to gain some experience related to my major.

Student A: That sounds smart! I think I'm going to volunteer at the local animal shelter. It’ll be a good way to help out and also have some flexible hours.

Student B: That’s a great idea! I’ve heard that it's really rewarding. What do you think you’ll be doing there?

Student A: I’ll be helping with the pets, organizing the adoption events, and maybe even working with kids during educational programs. How about you?

Student B: I’m leaning towards a research internship. I found one at the campus lab that focuses on environmental studies. I think it’d look good on my resume.

Student A: Definitely! It sounds like a perfect fit for you. Have you applied yet?

Student B: Not yet, but I plan to do it by the end of the week.
