Read the following excerpt from a satirical novel:

"In the land of Perfect Solutions, every problem had a gloriously simple answer. The leaders often declared that ignorance was merely a form of enlightenment. One enthusiastic councilman, while discussing the recent unemployment crisis, proclaimed, 'If people would just stop wanting jobs, they wouldn't suffer from not having them! Why can't they see that it’s all about perspective?' This statement was met with applause from the gathered citizens who appeared blissfully unaware of the irony."
