Understanding Purpose in Career Counseling
Listen to the conversation between a student and a career counselor:
Student: Hi, I'm feeling a bit lost about my options after graduation. I have a degree in biology, but I’m not sure what jobs to look for.
Counselor: That’s completely normal! Many students feel that way. Have you considered looking into healthcare or research positions? There are also opportunities in environmental science or education.
Student: I hadn’t thought about education! Can you tell me more about that?
Counselor: Sure! Teaching can be very rewarding, and there are plenty of programs that can help you transition into a teaching role.
