Understanding the Sequence of Gardening Events

Last Saturday, Jamie decided to help his grandmother in her garden. First, he put on his old gardening gloves and picked up a trowel. Next, he followed his grandmother to the vegetable patch. She showed him how to plant seeds in neat rows. After planting, they watered the new seeds carefully. To protect the young plants from birds, they placed wires around the patch. Finally, they sat on the porch with lemonade and watched the sunset.
