Understanding Vocabulary in Context

During a fall festival, children gathered around to admire the vibrant display of colorful leaves. Each tree in the park seemed to wear a coat of brilliant reds, oranges, and yellows. The air was filled with the delightful aroma of pumpkin spice, and laughter echoed as families enjoyed the festivities. Among the games set up for the children, a scavenger hunt promised adventure and excitement. Children raced to find hidden treasures, shouting with glee every time they discovered a small prize.

One child exclaimed, ‘Look at this treasure I found!’ as she held up a smooth, shiny acorn. Although it was small, the joy in her eyes was immense.
