Understanding Whiskers' Situation

In a sleepy village nestled between rolling hills, a friendly cat named Whiskers was well-beloved by all its residents. Whiskers had a peculiar habit of visiting each house on the street every evening, stopping to say hello and receive treats. The village children adored him, often racing to see who could be the first to feed him the best snack. One day, a new family moved into the village and brought along their dog, Bruno.
