Vocabulary in Context: Mighty Lions

Emily was very excited to go to the zoo with her family. She was especially eager to see the majestic lions. As they walked through the zoo, Emily pointed out the enormous elephants splashing in the water and the playful monkeys swinging from branch to branch.

They finally reached the lion exhibit. Emily couldn't believe how big and strong the lions looked as they rested under the shade. She whispered to her brother, 'Look how powerful they are!' It was a wonderful day filled with fun and interesting animals.
